Turkish soldiers, assigned to the Regional Command in the East of KFOR mission, conducted a routine patrol in northern Kosovo to ensure stability and freedom of movement in the area.
The official announcement shows that these efforts are part of KFOR's daily mission to ensure a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, KFOR's official announcement said.
