“We talked each about the power of our respective nations and the great benefit that one day we will have working together”, Trump said in a post on his social network, revealing details about a conversation that followed an agreement to exchange prisoners between the two countries.

The republican president said leaders also “agreed that their respective teams should immediately start negotiations” and that they would inform Ukrainian leader Voldymyr Zelensky of their conversation.
He said the call was “long and extremely productive”.
We discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, dollar power and other issues,” said Trump.
The Kremlin said Putin and Trump had talked about an hour and a half on the phone and that both leaders had agreed to meet.
