The order follows developments at the American Agency for International Development, whose employees have been suspended or given mandatory permission.
President Trump has repeatedly pledged to clear up what he calls subx0 states within the state”, firing the bureaucratic and those he considers unfaithful.
The president's executive order says that failure to implement his agenda will be considered a reason for disciplinary measures that could lead to dismissal.
“Secretary (Marko Rubio) must have an extraordinary workforce of patriots to effectively implement this policy”, the order said.
“Secretary, in line with the law in force, will reform the Foreign Service and manage external relations to ensure the faithful and effective implementation of the president's foreign policy agenda”, it was further said.
The order says that the State Secretary will implement reforms regarding the standards of recruiting, efficiency and quality at work, as well as on standards of assessment and working to secure a labour force dedicated to the faithful implementation of the president's constitutionalx1> foreign policy.
Given the order, the secretary can renew the Foreign Service Institute's programmes and review or replace the Foreign Affairs Manual, a review of the State Department's policies, procedures and organisational structures.
Just hours after taking office on January 20th, President Trump ordered freezing most of the aid the United States granted to other countries to ensure that it was in line with its “Americane of Para”.
After the order, U personnel AID was granted mandatory permission and was asked not to appear at the agency's headquarters in Washington, where agency name signs were removed or covered.
