The Federal Court, like Switzerland's highest rate of trial, has confirmed a person's sentence to ten years in prison, fines for attempted murder and other acts. Kosovar has wanted to kill his ex-wife because of a disagreement over their son.
In its July 2023 ruling, the Supreme Court of Bern Canton had ordered only a ten-year expulsion from the country.
The highest Swiss court has dismissed all complaints of the complainer, writes platform.ch. Among other things, he had criticised the qualifications of crime as the remaining attempted murder and had demanded that expulsion be removed from the country.
The convicted man was accused of tying a laptop's belt to a strip of cloth before meeting his ex-wife in early 2021. He took this and a kitchen knife with him to where they had agreed to meet. On that occasion he had tried to drown her (inculcate her), but she had managed to escape from the snare on her head and escape.
The reason of the convict for the crime was that he wanted to put his son in a children's house, because there would be better care, conveys albinfo.ch. The divorced couple's relationship was very tense because of the dispute over their son and for that reason the authorities had intervened.
The man was also jealous and had threatened to kill his ex-wife if she entered into a relationship with another man.
