Central Election Commission Chairman Kreshnik Radonic spoke of reports that Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berisha, has envelopes with ballot papers and sent them to embassys in Croatia.
Radoniqi said there has been a row between observers at the polls in Croatia.
Apart from Croatia's vote, the only issue that has gone as a hurdle, observers have been at odds, is about 30 votes. The people who have withdrawn those votes are authorised by the CEC. One mistake has been made to recognize the drones. Regarding these votes, the secretariat has been announced and on the basis of the recommendation we will make a decision at the CEC”, Radoniqi said.
Otherwise, Pristina Constitutional Prosecutorship announced on Thursday that it has launched an investigation following reports that Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, Martin Berishaj, is allegedly involved in the illegal transport of votes by exiles' mail to the February 9th parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
Out of 104,924 voters who are registered to vote outside Kosovo, 84.525 of them have chosen to vote via mail, according to the Central Election Commission (KQZ).
So 67,421 have been registered to send the ballot package to the CEC mailbox outside Kosovo, while 17.104 will send the package with a ballot to the CEC mailbox in Kosovo.
