The Supreme Court has rejected the request for protection of the former BIA unit commander Salih Mustafa.
“Cal” remains in force for 15 years in prison, given by Apel in September 2024.
“Set up other points, the panel found Mustafa did not identify why the 15-year prison sentence constitutes violation of criminal law. In terms of SPS's request, the panel found that simply disagreements with certain decisions do not meet the rigorous standard, which requires that a demand for protection of legitimacy succeed”, Klankosova.tv reported.
