His statements were made during the conference following the NATO countries' defence ministers' meeting in Brussels.
Commenting on developments in Kosovo, Rutte cited the election process and efforts of the Central Election Commission to finalise the results, not excluding the possibility of creating a ruling coalition.
“We are very involved in Kosovo through KFOR, we are also closely tracking and trying to help in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have excellent reports with leaders in the region, including Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. In a constant context to make sure that anything we can do to contribute to the stabilisation of the region, we do. We just had elections in Kosovo. The Central Election Commission is working on the final results, and that means there can be a coalition in Kosovo”, Rutte has said.
