Rama announces opening of two negotiating groups

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that Albania has received two important letters from the European Union's Polish Presidency, opening two new chapter groups in the process of membership negotiations.

According to Rama, the first letter is for the opening of the negotiating chapter 3, while the second, for group 2.

This is a major achievement for Albania, considering an important step towards full EU membership.

Also, Rama has denied the word of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in the Assembly, which said the government's leader has gone to Durres to meet with Mayor Erion Veliaj.
