A group of prosecutors launches investigations into USAID-funded projects, including Albania

United States President Donald Trump has brought a group of prosecutors to the Balkans to investigate U-funded projectsAID, including Albania.

The group, sent by the Trump administration, is headed by former federal prosecutor Martin De Luca. Investigations have been launched by Sarajevo, from which they have found that only in the past four years have been spent on USAID projects with nongovernmental organisations (OJQ) established by the Soros Foundation, about $40m, of which 250 million cannot be determined where they have disappeared.
