Police elaborate on the 42-year-old assassination in Skenderaj: Father and son have been arrested

Kosovo police have come up with new details about the 42-year-old murder at a local in Skenderaj during yesterday.

Through the 24-hour report, police have suggested that as suspects in the murder, father and son have been arrested and that a tin, three pistols, and 53 bullets of different calibre have been seized. Arrested are a 33-year-old with B.I and a 61-year-old initials H.I.

Suspects have been sent to maintenance.

“VEW-Skenderaj 12,02,2025 13:45. A Kosovo male has been shot at, and as a consequence, he has lost his life. The victim's death has been recorded at the scene. In connection with the case, two Kosovo male suspects (ba and son) have been arrested, and the same have been seized -- an AK47 gun, three short weapons (pistols) and 53 rounds of different calibre. At the prosecutor's decision, the lifeless body was sent to the IML for navigation, while suspects were sent to the maintenance of”, the police report said.

The murder occurred around 13:50 Wednesday at a bar in Skenderaj. The victim's death was confirmed at the medical scene.

The person who remained killed with firearms at a local in Skenderaj is the grandson of former Kosovo Liberation Army soldier Hysni Gucatit.
