A defendant has escaped today around 12:00 from the Constitutional Court's facility in Pristina, shortly after the court hearing ended.
According to the Kosovo Police, the suspect has used physical strength and aggressive actions against the official responsible for his security, causing bodily injuries, and has later managed to leave.
Police, in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, have launched investigations and are looking for fugitives. A criminal procedure for works “has been initiated against him. The attack on the official person” and “The possession of the person deprived of freedom” has revealed Police spokesman Agron Borovci for Gazette Express.
Meanwhile, L.H., suspected of severe bodily injury and illegal weapons, has escaped from the Palace of Justice after being assigned the detention measure to the hearing.
“For your announcement, the Constitutional Court in Pristina over the criminal case against indictees L.H. has received information that the same one after accepting a decision on the detention assignment has managed to flee the Kosovo Police, who have been competent to secure the case”, the tribunal's response reported.
Initially, the Foundation Court in Pristina, the General Department for Criminal Affairs, indicates that it has approved the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Pristina for the appointment of the detention measure against indictees L.H.
