The teenager was arrested on February 10th, and items were found in his house suggesting he backed the Islamic State, Euronews reports.
The report comes after a knife attack in the southern town of Fillah on Saturday, in which a 23-year-old Syrian refugee allegedly killed a teenager and injured five people, according to Reuters.
According to Austrian authorities, the man radicalised after watching Islamic videos in social media.
