With deep grief, we received news of the life-sharing of Bajram Qerkeyni, the man who willingly and courageously gave voice to the pain of thousands of families of persons missing by Serb forces during the recent war in Kosovo”, Osmani wrote.
“As chairman of the Association of Parents, Bajrami was a symbol of resistance, justice and steadfast devotion to whitewash the fate of the missing with violence during the war. For more than two decades, he lived with pain for his missing son, never stopping in his search for truth”.
Osmano said that the country has lost a strong voice in the cause of justice, and comforted the Krkin family.
“Today, Kosovo lost a strong voice in the cause of justice, but its legacy remains alive”.
