President Vjosa Osmani met with Commission for Foreign Affairs Chairman at the US House of Representatives Brian Mast on Thursday.
Osmani suggests that with Mastin they discussed Kosovo's historic connection to the United States, where the country's first adds that it is an alliance built on common values and commitment to peace and security.
It further says that with the Trump administration, deepening co-operation in various fields is aimed, including defence, strategic investments and the continuation of joint work for strengthening Kosovo's international position.
“With the administration of President Trump, we aim at deepening co-operation in various fields, including defence, strategic investments and the continuation of joint work for strengthening Kosovo's international position. American support has been and remains vital to our country! ”, Osmani said.
