Osmani: Today we stand here because we resisted, never bowed to violence, injustice, and cruelty

President Vjosa Osmani has once again congratulated the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence. Just before the launch of the KSF and Kosovo Police's pre-pass ceremony, the country's first said Kosovo stands where it is today, only that it did not give up, resisted and fought without bowing to violence, injustice and atrocities. “

Just before the launch of the KSF and Kosovo Police's pre-pass ceremony, the country's first said Kosovo stands where it is today, only that it did not give up, resisted and fought without bowing to violence, injustice and atrocities.

Dear Kosovo citizens, congratulations on the 17th anniversary of Independence. We're here because we stayed and resisted. We are here today because we fought because we sacrificed, because we never bowed to violence, injustice, and cruelty. We're here today because we managed to rebuild, build and strengthen our country. And thanks to the Kosovo Police Army, we managed to protect every inch of our state”, Osmani said.

She also mentions former President Ibrahim Rugova as the Founding Father of Independence, while adding that today the national flag is proud, under heaven, our beloved flag.

On this great day of our history, on this 17th anniversary of the Republic's Independence, we stand proudly before our beloved flag, under the free heaven of our homeland to honor the glorious journey of our nation towards freedom, sovereignty and full citizenship”, Osmani said.

“On the foundations of our Republic lies a long journey, a journey that began with the vision of our architect of Independence, the Founding Father of the Republic, the historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”.
