“Congratulations 17th anniversary of Independence. It is a day when we remember the centuries - old sacrifice that our people have made in order to enjoy this day. It is a day when we celebrate the successes our Republic has achieved, strengthening sovereignty, strengthening citizenship and international subjectivity. But it is also a day when we tell them thank you from the heart, a permanent thank you, for all those who sacrificed and gave everything that we today celebrate this day, from the architect of independence, President Rugova and legendary Commander Adam Yashari who led KLA, up to every citizen of our Republic who sacrificed with pain and blood so today can enjoy this day.
