The FBI has discovered about 2,400 data related to the murder of President John Kennedy, who never handed over to a board in charge of examining and discovering documents, has learned Axios.
Secret data still contains 14,000 pages of documents the FBI found in a review prompted by President Donald Trump's executive order on January 23rd, requiring the publication of all KPC assassination data.
The discovery of 61 years after Kennedy was killed in Dallas follows decades of government reluctance to issue all documents concerning the murder, which sparked a mountain of conspiracy theories.
The existence of new documents was discovered Friday in the White House, when the Office of the Director of National Intelligence under Trump's orders presented its plan to uncover the assassination's data.
The content of recently found data is classified. The three sources that broadcast their existence to Axio said that they had not seen the documents, it broadcasts thegraphy.
But the discovery of thousands of data on one of the most reviewed events in US history is likely to raise questions about procedures for verification and extraction of information throughout the government.
This is huge. This shows that the FBI is taking this” seriously, said Jefferson Morley, the expert in the murders and vice president of the nonparty Mary Ferrell Foundation, the biggest source in the country's online murder data.
“The FBI is finally saying, "Let's respond to the President's order, instead of keeping our secret”, Morley said.
