A child is among at least 36 who were injured in Munich City, writes Euronews.
Police said Thursday that two of the victims were in critical condition, and eight seriously injured.
Public prosecutor Gabriele Tilmann said the suspect, a 24-year-old Afghan national, had admitted to driving in the crowd deliberately.
He added that authorities have reason to believe there was a <x0 religious sub-motive” following the attack and that he would be investigated by the police against terrorism.
