Protecting KLA leaders voices concerns: The moment where Kadri Wessel rises
Kadri Wessel's defense has expressed concern over Sylejman Selimi's interrogation, saying they are concerned that questions are not impartial, but, according to him, are being made in that form for the prosecution to create grounds for drawing conclusions.
Kadri Wessel's defense lawyer, Rodney Dixon, Expressing this concern, Kadri Wessel was later seen talking with his defence team on the same issue.
Dixon: We have some questions about the questions recently asked about Mr. Shala. These concerns have been voiced in last November and year's document concerning the measures taken to ensure the impartiality of the judicial process. My concern is that these are not clear questions, they're questions you're using as grounds for the court.
These are not questions that the court needs to ask, and I wanted to know if you've made any decisions regarding our pending motion. It's the November 30th 2024 motion.
Judge: Our decision is that we will proceed as we have done. We can ask questions on any subject possible.
Dixon: But I'm saying that our motion will guarantee the rights of the accused and guarantee impartiality and justice of the court process. Once again, I point out that questions are not fair today, they are questions that are being used as grounds by judges in their conclusions.
