The chairman of the Association of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL-UÇK), Hysni Gucati, has clarified that the decision not to co-operate with the Kurti Government in organising activities for the 17th anniversary of independence and the 27th anniversary of the KLA Age is not a boycott of the manifestations, but a rejection of co-operation with the current executive.

Gucati has criticised the Government for its lack of commitment to veterans and families of martyrs, stressing that no agreement was reached during the four years of Kurti's government, except for a meeting with Faton Klink, where, according to him, no agreement was reached, and veterans faced with conditions imposed by the government.
