Kosovo Constitutional Court Becomes a Member of European Conference of Constitutional Courts

“at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo Constitutional Court, the Constitutional Court of the District of the 20th Congress of the European Conference of Constitutional Courts (KEGJK), organised by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania in Tirana, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo has been fully accepted by this prestigious forum of European Constitutional and Supreme Court”, the announcement said.
Our application for membership was made by the head of the Constitution, Nexmi Rexhepi, who in his speech said that, our <x0) aim has never been to pursue a political advantage by joining the KEC, but rather, to take the rightful place among members of a community that supports the values of democracy, rule of law and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms on the European continent. Our court has proved to be a passionate Guardian of these” values.
The European Conference of Constitutional Courts (KEGJK) was established in 1972, with a membership of 40 constitutional and supreme courts of European countries.
