KMDLNj opposes rising electricity price, calls on citizens to mobilise

The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has rejected the rise in the price of electricity, as COSTT, KEDS and KESCO have asked for such a thing to ZERECE. KMDLNj says that expensive electricity will produce chain effects by increasing the prices of essential items as well as all services.
“The three power operators -- COST, KEDS and KESCO -- have been addressed with a ZRE request requiring increased electricity prices from April 1st 2025 per cent to 35 per cent. There is no reaction or information from the government in office, and ZRE has confirmed that it has accepted such a request, but the decision will be made after a debate with citizens, according to KMDLNj's key fraud ordiner and attempts to shift attention. Before the February 9, 2025 elections ZRREE has confirmed that there will be no electricity price increase. Still without the results of these elections, power operators are demanding a staggering and abnormal increase in the price of electricity, while most Kosovo citizens are trying to survive, while many businesses have either been pardoned or are being bankrupt. Increasing the price of electricity will produce chain effects by increasing the prices of essential items as well as all services. ”
KMDLNj adds government “has failed to protect citizens' interests, meanwhile Z The RRE for more than 15 years has stolen Albanian consumers and non-Serb communities to pay the current for Serbs”.
Kosovo citizens must not believe the ZRE or the government in office because in defense of the operators' interests, have failed to protect the interests of citizens, meanwhile ZRE for more than 15 years has stolen Albanian consumers and non-Serb communities to pay the current for Serbs who do not have recognisers or pay as much as they like. Citizens robbed by ZRE have never been compensated for stolen vehicles from ZRE.”
Finally KMDLNj has called for citizens to mobilise against increased electricity prices.
“Citizens must object with all allowed means of criminal expensive electricity, from continued protests to refusing to pay bills with warnings. Of the total income, the majority of households are forced to share between 13 per cent and 16 per cent of their income for write-off bills for the current. Meanwhile, in developed countries this percentage does not exceed 3 per cent to 6 per cent. The rejection of citizens should not be used for political purposes by anyone as has happened before by giving it a whole different character. Reject politicians, protect economic and social rights. Object to the artogany and fraud of criminalised ZRE and do not compromise with any government, regardless of who is led to your harm. Whoever leads with the government should be forced to make the price index. Nobody protects your rights unless you protect them. Citizens are being forced to receive consumer loans from microfinancial and non-banking banks and institutions at monthly interest rates of over 30 per cent. KMDLNj calls for citizens to mobilise against the announced rise in the price of electricity as they do in all countries. ”
