KDR publishes final list of 21 candidates selected for new judges

The Commission to recruit judges of the Kosovo Judiciary Council (KGJK) has published the list of 21 candidates who have passed the exam for new judges. Unhappened candidates with results have the right to a 3-day complaint.
Otherwise, the Kosovo Institute for Justice/Religion has largely monitored the whole process of oral interviews that were conducted from January 13th 2025, which lasted until February 10th 2025.
Interviews have been submitted to a total of 65 candidates, already 3 have withdrawn from the race
Interviews were conducted before the Commission with this composition: Albert Zogaj-chairman of the Commission, and members Bekim Veliqi, Valon Kurtaj, Arjeta Sadiku and Ahmet Imami.
Otherwise, Kosovo's “Justice/Religion for Justice” on November 15th, 2024, has reported 67 candidates who successfully passed the writing test for 21 judges.
Also “The Kosovo Justice/Religion Institute for Justice” has monitored the writing process in the criminal field on November 9th, and civil on November 10, 2024.
