Motorized and walking patrol activities are intended to ensure security and maintain a continued presence in the area.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially”, the report says.
“KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, it is said further.
