Although carefully, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo candidate (AAK) and Gjakova chairman Ardian Djindi did not interpret as positive the positions expressed by the head of the Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, at “Debat Plus”, about two weeks after the February 9th elections.
During an interview on the “Rubicon” show, Djind stressed that the AAK remains steadfast in its stance on creating an opposition government, accusing Limaj of creating confusion with its statements.
“There's no fluctuation in position... we'll be together, but such statements really cause confusion. What is the aim of a political grouping that has competed in the elections together? I believe it would be okay. It's true that what we've been saying was obedience, it was just electoral campaign,” Jean said it.
Meanwhile, Limaj's statement that "Who wants to invite me to the table?"” is viewed by Djindjic as unclear and with multiple interpretation possibilities.
For Jean, this is not the right time for unclear attitudes. In my opinion, it's not even the right moment or the right approach, but Mr. Limaj is probably going to be clear because what he said allows for double meanings and can't be interpreted as just sitting at the table with Kurti,” He said it.
According to him, these statements are creating “ in opposition, though he believes the agreement between the AAK and the Pre-election Initiative remains unchanged.
We will remain together as a group at this stage. I can't know the details, people have different opinions, but I believe it hasn't been the moment or the context to get them out yet without counting votes, yet without seeing the approaches of political parties,” He said.
Finally, Djind said that “does not trust” that “z. Limaj will go to negotiate with Albin Kurti to enter coalition”.
Kurti's “Recycling is dangerous for Kosovo”
As for the possibility of a return of Albin Kurt to the government, Djind was fundamentally against: “We think that a recycling of Albin Kurti to the government has to bring Kosovo already irreparable damage. ”
On the other hand, the head of NISMA, Fatmir Limaj, who has previously been one of the biggest critics of Kurti government, has surprised the opinion with his latest statements. While appearing in “Debat Plus”, it signaled an opener approach to possible co-governance with Vetevendosje.
Just two weeks ago, he spoke of the conceptual difference between the opposition and Albin Kurti, while now stresses the need for “relationship progress” and the country's “reposition. ”
This is what we need, we need fast... relationship repair, reposition of our country, we here together on national topics. Look, the big themes, the opposition position, must be at a table,” he said.
