So has the chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Ora, declared during his visit with Prizren Mayor Shaqir Totaj.
Saying that the European Union is not complete without joining the Western Balkan states, he has been asked what Kosovo should do to membership.
As far as Ambassador Orav added in his response that Kosovo must meet the terms or “domestic tasks”.
“I think it has been said many times by many EU levels, which the EU is not complete before all Balkan states join. My sincere hope is that this will happen as soon as possible. But, that means that Kosovo needs a lot of domestic details... What is needed to remove Kosovo's measures is the consensus of the 27 EU states, and then there are a lot of discussions which are still under way”, Orav said.
Orav has also held separate meetings during Tuesday with political party leaders in Kosovo.
He has mentioned Kosovo citizens want EU membership, for which the Government should work to realise.
While the prime minister's office has announced that at the Kurti-Orav meeting, in addition to the election process, it was also discussed the necessity of removing measures against Kosovo from the European Union and the need for faster review of Kosovo's application for EU membership.
