In Kosovo Specialised Chambers ( DPSK) in The Hague on Tuesday, after hearings began against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK), however, she went on vacation because former President Hashim Thaci was not present.
As a result, Luka Misetiq- his lawyer said he is notified by the secretary that Thaci will not come and that he does not know anything else, reports “Justice bet“.
Thereafter, the chairman of the court, Charles Smith III, said that he was told that he was not in good health and that he should meet a doctor but that he was unaware that he would not attend.
“The only communication, which has not been good because of health and had to meet with a doctor”, he said.
After that, Misethic was asked to communicate with Thaci to understand whether he will join or grant permission for the session to continue without his presence.
Otherwise, in the courtroom, Rexhep Selimi appeared with a blue tie, which held state motives in honour of the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, while Jakup Kransniqi and Kadri Wessel held red ties.
