Grenelle is severely offended by Serbs after congratulating independence and calling Thaci “the foundationist”

This after Greenell congratulated Kosovo's independence, and expressed concern for “the great injustice” that Hashim Thaci, former president of the country, remains in custody.

Many of them mostly Serbs used harsh languages and grave insults in response to the former family's post for the Balkans.

In his tour, Greenell said he is being wronged “At the founding of Kosovo's citizenship, President Hashim Thaci. ”

He added that Thaci “would have to be in Pristina celebrating, not behind bars at The Hague. ”

I wish all my friends to #Kosovo a happy and secure holiday on the 17th anniversary of their independence.

However, this anniversary is overshadowed by serious injustice. Kosovo's founding father of citizenship, President Hashim Thaci, was due to celebrate it in Pristina today, not after bars in The Hague.

Europeans have failed to act against this injustice for the past five years. And Kosovo state institutions have failed to take the necessary legal actions to end this injustice because of politics.

This unjust imprisonment should end”, Grenelli said.

Green's post was not well received by his Serb followers, who launched a campaign of harsh comments, where some used hate speech and grave insults against the American diplomat.

In their messages, some of them wrote: “Go to hell with all American administration”, “Go away, penner”, “Kosovo is Serbia”...
