I wish all my friends in #Kosovo a joyful and secure celebration on the 17th anniversary of their independence.

However, this historic moment has been overshadowed by serious injustice. The founding father of Kosovo's citizenship, President Hashim Thaci, must celebrate today in Pristina, not after bars in The Hague.

Europeans have failed to act against this injustice in the past five years. And Kosovo state institutions have failed to take the necessary legal actions to end this injustice because of politics.
