On the first day of the trial, Berat Nimani told German medium BILD: “One of Besar's killers is walking free. Since his death we have lived in constant fear. ”
His lawyer, Peter Wüller, was declared to BILD: “I had some contacts with Niman immediately after the act was extremely cold in the middle of the day in Bilelfeld. He asked me to represent him. ”
He said his client would surrender in the coming days.
The whole situation is very confusing,” says the lawyer. “Once I've got a random mirror and I talk to the public prosecutor, my client will go to the police and surrender” That would happen in the next few days, but maybe not this week.
During yesterday, one person has died and four others have been injured after a shootout near the Bilelfeld court in Germany, where the trial process for the murder of Kosovo boxer Besar Nimani was under way.
The shooting occurred at around 13:30 Wednesday, shortly after the end of the trial hearing against Huseyin Akkurt, charged with killing Niman in March 2024.
