French Ambassador: Kosovo to prioritise co-ordination and dialogue for the sake of their state, entire continent

Under the organisation of embassies from France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and the European Union, Russia's full-scale invasion from Ukraine has been commemorated three years ago. Also, a protest has been held in Pristina to oppose this war. Present at the choir - organized event [...]
Present at the event, organised by the diplomatic choir, were representatives of the Government of Kosovo and the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.
Osmani said that since the first day the war began Kosovo has backed Ukraine, since he knows the risks are great.

She said that these three years have been in great pain, loss, but also intense resistance from the Ukrainian people.
“We have given Ukraine everything we can give, whether it's weapons or solid support, knowing Ukraine's victory is our victory and the loss of Ukraine is our”, Osmani said.

Kosovo is lined up with the West, imposing sanctions on Russia and sheltering Ukrainian journalists in the country.
Osmani said Kosovo wants Ukraine out of this stronger and cheaper war, adding that Ukrainian people deserve to live in peace.
The future <x0D) will form not only the future of Ukraine, but perhaps the future of all of us who believe in a world where peace triumphs over war, where freedom triumphs over fear, and where life triumphs over death, and where people who want freedom triumph over genodical and hegemonist crimes”, Osmani said.

France's ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, said the struggle for freedom of Ukraine is a struggle for Europe's security.
This war has great significance for Europe's security. The future of our continent's security, and the international order is at risk because Russia may not stop there if Ukraine surrenders. Therefore, support should be continued for Ukraine financially and militarily”, he said.
He said recent days have intensified widespread peace discussions in Ukraine, but warned there can be no talks on Ukraine without Ukraine, and there can be no European security talks, without Europeans.
A truce without security guarantees [for Ukraine] would be dangerous. We want a lasting and long-term peace, not a fragile” ceasefire, Ambassador Guerot said, while calling for increased defence capacities and expenditures in Europe.
During the address to the event for marking the war's three-year note in Ukraine, Guerot urged Kosovo and Serbia to return to dialogue on normalisation of reports, mediated by the EU, and to implement the agreement on the road to normalisation of reports.
The “Situate in Kosovo cannot be shared by the wider security picture of our continent. Therefore, I invite Kosovo to prioritise co-ordination and dialogue for the sake of their state and the entire province of”, the French ambassador said.
Earlier in the day, a peaceful protest was held in Pristina to oppose the war in Ukraine. Those present lit candles in honor of the victims of this war. /rel
