With deep sorrow, I received news of the life apart from the lives of my friend and Kosovo's great friend, prominent US diplomat Frank Wisner.

As the US Special Representative for resolving Kosovo's status, Ambassador Wisner played a crucial role in the process that led to our country's independence. His devotion, professionalism and vision of a free and democratic Kosovo will remain eternally in the memory of our people.

In these difficult times, I express my sincere condolences to the Wisner family and his friends. The people of Kosovo will always remember this visionary diplomat's extraordinary contribution to building our state and strengthening Kosovo's strategic partnership- USA.
