Faik Rexhepi, the man from Presevo who became a symbol of resistance against Slobodan Milosevic, has died.
The news was made known, human rights activist Belgzim Kamberi.
Kamberi announced that the funeral of the deceased will take place tomorrow at the town cemetery in Dragodan in Pristina at 1500.
Faik Rexhepi, who worked in the company “Fernikonli” in Drenas, in August 90s along with fellow colleagues had come out to host a delegation of the American Congress.
In this case, the Serbian police had severely intervened, trying to disperse the move.
But the only one who did not play the country was Faik, who sat across the crowd.
A few years ago, exactly where he protested was placed a monument called “The man who struck the country!”, in honour of his work.
