The European Union has sent a clear message to Washington about the statement made the previous day, where it named Voldymyr Zelensky as a “dicator”.
“Voldymyr Zelensky is Ukraine's legitimate elected president through fair and transparent elections”, said EU spokesman Stefan de Keersmaker, adding that “Ukraine is a democracy, Russia is not”.
The Commission's spokesman, moreover, noted once again that there will be no sustainable solution for a peaceful solution without the involvement of Ukraine and without the EU.
Ukraine's “Security directly relates to EU security”, he said.
The spokesman also cited EU contribution to relations with Kiev
He also cited the EU's contribution relations with Kiev from the beginning as excellent both in economic and military terms.
