EU Office in Kosovo chief Aivo Ora has met with the new Kosovo-Serbia dialogue emissary Peter Sorensen.
Orav said he is convinced that his experience will help advance the process of dialogue, while he said he and the team would support him in his work.
The first excellent “meeting with Peter Sorensen, the EU's newly appointed Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue. I am convinced that his extensive diplomatic experience will help advance normalisation of relations between Serbia and Kosovo. My team and I will fully support him!”, he said.
Sorensen from today is officially emissar for dialogue with an initial mandate of 13 months.
In the official announcement of the Council of the European Union for his appointment, it was said his task would be to contribute to the overall normalisation of relations between the two neighbours, but especially the focus should be on implementing the Ohrid Agreement and its annex.
An excellent first meeting with Peter Sörensen, the newly-appinted E USR for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.
I am aware that his extensive diplomatic experience will help advance the normalisation of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
My Team and I will really support him! Pic.twitter. com/ UL7bZJy8
