He mentioned the sacrifices his father had passed, on his journey to the Declaration of Independence.
The candidate for MP from the PDK ranks said his parent is unjustly not free.
In the years, ʹ70s started travelling illegally with slogans for Kosovo independence. In the '80s, when the occupation was heavy on the shoulders of Albanians, you were sentenced to 14 years in prison for seeking freedom. Before the Yugoslav court, courageously you said: “I recognise the trial of the Albanian people, I am Albanian, I am not Yugoslav!” A pledge of freedom that was never broken”, Krasniqi said.
You didn't stop a day after the prison. Still serving the homeland, being loyal to the way of deliverance. On December 31, 1991, you set out on a war journey with Adam Yasar and your companions. And when the war came, you were the voice of the Kosovo Liberation Army. You didn't speak with a nickname, but with your face, name, and surname, proclaiming publicly that this people will fight to victory. And that's what happened. Our war was led by people like you, who didn't scare out bullets, prisons or torture”, he stressed.
After the war, you asked not glory for yourself, but you gave the state everything, to the top of the institutions. And today, Dad, Kosovo is free, but not you. Unfairly. But know, the truth can't be locked up! Your voice will always be heard, your name will remain a symbol of courage and freedom”
