Throughout his testimony, the witness was represented by attorney Artan Qerkey. During the end of his testimony, the witness was questioned by three defence teams, apart from the one of Rex0> Justice betrothal “.
Responding to Thaci's lawyer, Luka Misethic, the witness denied that there were powers, instructions or regulations to arrest civilians. In the same way, Selim confirmed it to Veselin Rodney Dixon's lawyer.
He reaffirmed that the General Staff has not provided adequate support to operational areas.
“The General Staff had the name and noted when you mention it as a seemingly great thing. I would have wanted to have such a staff during wartime, but unfortunately, we don't have one such headquarters that can support operational zones. There's been a headquarters that was made up of some members that you don't have a date more than you've ever met. It was a non-functional headquarters”, he said.
Wessel's lawyer, Rodney Dixon, asked to be informed of what's next after April.
The chairman of the court, Charles Smith III, said that when the prosecution is finished, they will organise a conference on the performance of the case. However, he said they would issue several more orders in response to defence questions after Dixon stressed that they have several deadlines for presumption and motions.
While, when word was given to the victim's defender, the session went to private sessions to discuss some statements concerning some safeguard clauses that are pending.
Smith announced that next week the prosecution has only one confirmed witness and that he was asked to try to ensure another in order not to drag time into court.
That is what today's session concluded to continue on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
