Konjufca said independence was achieved with great effort, effort and sacrifice of the Albanian people.
“The war for deliverance, freedom, and independence is the foundation of the blood of the martyrs fallen upon the generations. ”
He also said that the people of Kosovo would always be grateful to friends and allies at the helm with the United States of America and European states “supporting the liberation of Kosovo and the construction of our independent and sovereign state. ”
Without their help this path would be longer and more difficult. So today on this holiday of celebration and joy, we reflect on this story of freedom and dignity, dedicated on our way to sovereignty, democracy and integration into the Euro-Atlantic world. Long live the Republic of Kosovo. Cheers. ”
