So has Kosovo Deputy Director of Police in Northern Mitrovica Veton Elshani, who said four tickets have been pronounced in connection with the case.
After the completion of our procedures all 12 people have been released. The tickets are pronounced. Three for lack of a driver's license (2 of them minors) and one for more persons in the vehicle than is allowed (7 people in one dot)”, Elshani has announced.
Forbidden persons, 10 of whom were minors, have been detained under suspicion of entering Albanian flags in northern Mitrovica.
For this, they have been stoned by some Serbs.
“12 persons -- 10 minors -- have been detained, allegedly with Albanian flags -- entered North Mitrovica. Several Serbs are suspected to have been stoned. We stopped two cars, there were five minors in one car. There were seven people in the other car. There is still no work but for driver's license and traffic violations, we are dealing with them”, Elshani stressed.
He has clarified that there is no work on the use of flags, while adding that police are dealing with the case as persons are minor and that this incident has opened up as <x0 criminal damage”.
