The Central Election Commission has started verifying votes via mail.
According to procedures, these ballot packages are initially subject to the evaluation process, which included verification of whether they belong to registered voters and if other previous procedures were followed.
Until, the count of these ballots will take place at a later stage at the Counting and Results Centre, following election day.
Even the postal delivery assessment process will be monitored by observers accredited by the CEC, who will be announced in time. The aim of the verification is to see if ballot packages were sent by registered voters to vote from outside Kosovo.
