The Central Election Commission has completed the assessment of ballot packages from abroad.
spokesperson Valmir Elezi said at a media conference that nearly 5 thousand packages of balloting have been rejected due to recorded irregularities.
The vote outside Kosovo, respectively, has concluded on Sunday evening the assessment of the alleged package balloting from voting outside Kosovo. We're usually referred to as allegedly written ballotacs because at this stage, the envelopes are not opened which are supposed to contain notebooks. This will be done during the counting process. According to preliminary data, the process of assessment or verification of packages from outside Kosovo has been signed by about 69 thousand packages, out of which about 63 thousand have been submitted, already around 4 thousand and 9008x1>, he said.
The reason why these mail shipments were rejected is that they were sent by persons who were cancelled during the registration process outside Kosovo, lack registration policy, more than once, or the persons who sent packages, have sent more than one ballot and other reasons”, Elez added.
Right now, he said the CEC is making the subx0> scan the list of voters signed at regular locations with the aim of comparing voters from conditional polling”.
The process of counting votes on bail, votes of persons with special needs and votes from votes outside Kosovo will begin within days, the spokesman said.
