This year, Papa Hamza became more than Shaban's father had when he was heroic.
Father Shaban has already spent his 100th birthday and there were 26 years apart among them.
But over the years, they were united by ideals, their love of their homeland, and their determination to freedom.
We, his children, and the entire family can never forget how kind and close he was to us.
He was a warrior but also an artist in his soul.
He lived with the song of the country in his heart and with the art in his soul.
He had Cerchiz Toullin idol, and the scene of his life was filled with acts of heroism that are never forgotten.
He was so close to his children that even the younger ones of his family refused to leave him alone in the war of March 5, 6, and 7.
He was not just a parent but a shield, a light that guided all fallen to the end.
His love and devotion for his homeland had taken him from his father, Shaban, with whom he never shared, either in life or in death.
Along with legendary commander Adem Jashari, they had sworn before Tahir Meha's grave that they would fight to their own ends for Kosovo, as it did.
It's been almost 27 years since the KLA era, but I still have the last conversation I had with him on the phone, after the battle of Cyrez and Likoshan.
I asked him how they stood with weapons, and he answered:
I don't know, they're gonna attack us with everything they've got.
But one thing I'm telling you:
Like Tahir Meha said, when I'm dead, they're writing seven newspapers...
I'm telling you, the whole world is going to know what has to happen here.”
Such was Daddy, far-reaching, decisive and invincible until the last breath for Kosovo.
Daddy, happy 75th birthday!
We live with the best memories of your glory and heroism!
