Hamza, among other things, has said they will work together with the opposition to give citizens the government for which the Albanian majority has voted.
On my name and on my PDK, I thank all citizens for fair and fair elections.
I thank other parties, and I wish them the result.
As a result of your vote, today is one day more different than yesterday. Your will is clear in yesterday's election. LVV has lost a large number of votes. Many citizens who voted in the past have already turned their backs on him.
The incumbent prime minister presented these elections as “referend” for himself and his government. But the goal was not achieved. He asked for 500k but didn't get it. They didn't give it to the citizens. Today, most citizens do not want the same government to continue.
Citizens in their political will have trusted the opposition. Hence, opposition parties have been empowering in these elections. This requires me and the PDK to bring in the answer to respect the Albanian majority for change.
We will not be involved in any coalition with LVV.
We have big differences. They want absolute power, they don't even have a programme, and during the campaign they fled from the confrontation even in television studios and debates.
They offended political opponents, and through that they offended the citizens of Kosovo. They provoked hatred, but we united and cooperated.
Therefore, we have the obligation and responsibility to give citizens the government they love and vote for.
As the second largest party, we will take the necessary steps in time to implement the will of most voters. We will work to give citizens the government for which most have voted.
More importantly, we will unite citizens and work hard to defend our promise to make Kosovo better.
The election result is that the Albanian majority want a new government. The procedures are clear. The first party is to try to create institutions, which we respect. If not, opposition as the winner of these elections could make the new government”, Bedri Hamza declared it.
