They've been delivered to the Energy Regulatory Office.
In this regard, Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has reacted. Bajrami has said that citizens have the right to know whether there will be an increase in the price of electricity.
“In past term, this government Two FIVE the price of electricity. According to media reports, energy sector companies have urged yet another price increase of about 35%, which will be an unbearable burden for family economies and businesses. The incumbent government is obliged to declare whether it will allow further power price growth on April 1st, or will it take measures to prevent it? They need to know that even another increase in energy bills will be unaffordable for the majority of citizens, and citizens can't constantly pay more because of the government's mismanagement and inability. No more price hikes, no more excuses! Citizens are still carrying the burden of inflation over 50% of basic consumer products. Energy isn't luxury for any family”, Bajrami wrote.

What has Kurti government done to increase energy production? Zero innovations in generation capacity since 2021:
) No new energy production project,
) No investment in existing capacities,
) No strategy to reduce import addiction,
For 4 years, the government has left the country at the mercy of import prices, while citizens pay higher and higher bills. How is it that we pay more and more, but we have no additional MWh produced in the last four years?
