The head of Kosovo's Independent Private Sector Union, Yusuf Azemi, has raised concerns about the massive evacuation of workers from the country.
During an interview in “DPS Fidani” in Klan Kosova, he stressed that over 200 thousand workers have left Kosovo in the last three years.
“I say with responsibility that Kosovo private sector workers are outside. In our statistics, we went to the airport on our own in 2024, and we had conversations with people 20 percent escaped with the intention of returning”.
“in 2022, 2023 and 2024 are over 200 young people who have released Kosovo, and among them the majority are workers and have released Kosovo. Based on our measurements, there are over 200 thousand workers who in three years have released the Republic of Kosovo”Azem said.
