A 23-year-old stabbed five passersby in Villach, south of Austria, killing a 14-year-old. According to local media crime occurred in the centre of the city, near the main square.
At that, the author of the attack, Syrian citizens, has been arrested with residence permits.
According to police spokesman Rainer Dionysio, quoted by “Kurier”, 23-year-old man stabbed passersby shortly before 1600, aged 14 to 23.
A witness of the attack after seeing the scene has crashed the Syrian in his car, thus facilitating the arrest of 23-year-old.
Police are continuing to whiteen the event and rule out the possibility that the author had accomplices.
