Arben Gashi, who was the head of the LDK parliamentary group in the recent legislature, finds the formation of the new government difficult, as, according to him, the majority in either side.
However, Gashi says Vetevendosje is in control of finding partners and creating a coalition.
It's hard behind the government in all options, because there's a majority on either side. The outcome should be expected, but it's very difficult to create the government. Vetevendosje has it in its hands to create coalition”, Gashi said of IndexOnline.
Asked whether he would respond positively to Kurt's possible invitation to co-governance between the VV and LDK, Gashi says there is meaning between two subjects, following Kurti's statements.
“There is no point in governing LDK with Vetevendosje following Kurti's statements. The first option I see is elections, but to wait for the vote to be counted and see what citizens put in box”, Gashi added.
We remember that Vetevendosje in the February 9th elections without counting conditional and diaspora votes has won 40.84% of the vote, followed by the PDK at 22.05%, The LDK at 17.67% and AAK at 7.45% of the vote.
The three opposition parties have declared they will not enter a coalition with the VV, which will have difficulty forming the new government only with non-Serb minorities.
