America and Ukraine close to finalising mineral deal, says Kiev

Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky earlier this month rejected an agreement that would give the United States access to Ukraine's minerals, in exchange for US military support, reports BBC, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
But in a post on social networks, Stefanisyna says: “Ukrainian and American teams are in the final phase of negotiations regarding the” mineral agreement.
“The negotiations have been very constructive, with almost all the key details finalised. We are committed to filling this quickly to continue with its signing”.
“We hope that US and Ukrainian leaders can sign and approve it in Washington as soon as possible to demonstrate our commitment for decades to come. ”
