Albania: 39 political parties registered for May 11th parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission has registered 39 political parties for the May 11th parliamentary elections.

After registering 15 parties yesterday at today's public session, State Election Commissioner Iliran Celibashi registered another 24 parties.

The deadline for registering parties expires at midnight on February 25th.

At today's session, there was also a debate within the Greek minority party “Mega”, where the two alleged heads require registration by the CEC.

The Greek Ethnik Ministership Party “for the Future” has long crashed. Christo Kicho has filed a request to record him in his name and has brought proof from the court register who is chairman.

And Lefter Nica has brought a first-degree decision by the Tirana Court, that he is the new party chairman.

CEC leader Ilirjan Celibashi has asked a decision on form cut.

“Set the decision of the cut form for the mayor's change, otherwise I will register what results in the register as chairman”, he said.
