An Albanian citizen involved in human trafficking is arrested, towards the United States of America.
On 2602.2025, the Department of Criminal Police, through the Joint Investigative Unit and with co-operation with the Tirana Prosecutor and Criminal Investigation Unit to the United States Diplomatic Security Service present at the US Embassy in Tirana, has infiltrated a criminal network accused of smuggling dozens of Albanian citizens from Europe to the United States.
This activity was allegedly launched in 2020.
